Dr. Rudolf Rauch, Director of Energy Programme Indonesia/ASEAN


Dr. Rauch has received his Ph.D. in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich. He started his professional career with Netzsch Instruments responsible for technical sales to Asia. He joined GIZ in 1991, holding various positions in Germany and Asia. Major assignments abroad have been in Thailand, India and Indonesia, where he initiated and implemented cooperation projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency. His experience ranges from policy development, working with government institutions to practical project implementation with the private sector. Presently he is stationed in Jakarta managing GIZ's renewable energy portfolio in Indonesia as well as a support programme for ASEAN countries, as the Director of Energy Programme Indonesia/ASEAN.



Kai Berndt, Team Leader


Kai holds a master's degree in Economic from the Univeristy of Luneburg, Germany. In 2004, he joined GIZ and has worked since then in different positions, in Germany as well as Asia. During this time, Kai gained extensive experience in project development, capacity building, as well as policy regulation in the field of energy efficiency as well as climate change. Apart from his technical skills, Kai brings in hands-on and know-how in business development, project management, political communication, and also working in and with the private sectors. To promote the use of natural refrigerant in the commercial and industrial sector in Indonesia, he is leading the team in supporting the Directorate General for New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic of Indonesia, to meet the Indonesia's ambitious of greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. 



Indira Kusuma Dewi Darmoyono, Advisor

  Indira holds a bechelor's degree in Chemistry and master's degree in Environmental Engineering both from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She has worked on climate change issue for 10 years. She has experience in working with development agency, consultant and NGOs. Prior to joining Green Chillers NAMA project in January 2016, she worked as a consultant on various projects in several development organisations, such as USAID-ICED, UKCCU, JICA, AFD, ITDP, and also served as the Delegation of the Republic of Indonesia for International Climate Change Negotiation. She also used to work with another project implemented by GIZ, the Transport and Climate Change (TCC) project in ASEAN, as the national coordinator for Indonesia, in which she worked on logistic transport as well as measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) for the transport sector.


 Evi Wahyuningsih, Advisor

  Evi joined Green Chillers NAMA project in November 2015. She is mainly responsible for NAMA strategy development and incentive scheme for refrigeration and air-conditioning sector. She has broad experience in energy, climate change, and environmental issues. Before joining Green Chillers NAMA project, she worked on climate change and environment projects, energy management company, and oil & gas pipeline research consortium. 


Getruida H. Hardjowijono, Junior Advisor

  Getruida H. Hardjowijono, also called by the nickname of Trudy, gained her bachelor degree in political science, majoring in International Relations at Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar), Bandung, and graduated in 2009. After graduating, she worked as a researcher in cooperation with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Indonesia and published "G-20 Research Project: The Role of Indonesia in the G-20: Background, Role and Objectives of Indonesia's Membership". She then worked at the ASEAN Center for Energy, an intergovernmental organisation focusing on the many different sectors of energy within the ASEAN region, and now working at GIZ as Junior Advisor for Green Chillers NAMA project. In her leisure time, Trudy enjoys reading, travelling and playing softball.


 Junianto M, Junior Advisor

            Junianto joined the GIZ-Green Chillers NAMA team in February 2017. Prior to that, he has worked for 11 years with the ASEAN Centre for Energy, an intergovernmental organization for energy policy cooperation, partnering with the Ministry agencies of the 10 Member Countries of ASEAN, as well as the energy agencies of Japan and Korea. He has vast experience on various energy development projects, particularly in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean coal, and civilian nuclear energy. He holds bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Bina Nusantara University (Binus) and currently pursuing his master’s degree in Business Administration at the School of Business and Management ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology). His main interest is sustainable development.


 Paulita Septarini Sedia Pratiwi, Office Manager

  Paulita holds a bachelor degree in English Literature from Universitas Nasional, Jakarta, Indonesia. She has experience in the area of administration, contract and finance with more than 10 years working with international organisations and private sectors. She has worked with GIZ since 1998 and having extensive experiences in working with the projects and several ministries. She has joined Green Chillers NAMA project since December 2014 as an Office Manager.


Rukmi Albertina Araujo, Finance and Procurement Officer
Rukmi gained her Diploma 3 in Finance Management from Oemathonis University, Kupang. Previously, she worked in the pharmaceutical field for 3 years in Kediri, East Java, and 17 years (1999 - 2003) in the field of finance, administration, and logistic in non-governmental and international organisations in Timor-Leste. Such as Medical San Frontieres, De Aide Medical Committee, NTAET Health, AUSAID-AETRDP, Dili Institution of Technology, and ADB. She joined GTZ in 2003 - 2006, with the Food Security Programme, in Baucau and Vikeke, Timor-Leste, and project Innovative Employment Promotion in June 2014 as a Finance Officer in Dili, Timor-Leste. In June 2015, Rukmi joined Green Chillers NAMA and EnDev Indonesia project as Finance and Procurement Officer.
